Withdrawal from the contract

Effective from 28 September 2026 · last updated 28 September 2026

The short version

A guide is digital content you receive for download immediately after payment. At that moment — and only if you expressly ticked it when ordering — your 14-day right to withdraw from the contract is lost. This is set by law and is not a term the seller could change.

If you have not yet started downloading the content, your right of withdrawal lasts 14 days.

1. When you have the right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded. This right applies as long as the supply of the digital content has not yet begun.

2. When the right of withdrawal is lost

The right of withdrawal is lost for a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if all three conditions are met:

  1. the supply began before the end of the 14-day period,
  2. it began with your express consent,
  3. you acknowledged that you had been informed of the loss of the right of withdrawal.

When ordering on this website you tick a confirmation that includes this statement:

"… I request immediate access to the guide before the withdrawal period ends — I understand that I thereby lose the 14-day right of withdrawal."

The order cannot be sent without ticking this box. If you ticked it and the content was nevertheless not made available to you, your right of withdrawal remains.

3. How to withdraw if you have the right

It is enough to send an unequivocal statement of withdrawal before the period ends to hello@majsterodnuly.sk or by post to the seller's address. You may use the form below, but you do not have to — any wording of your own that makes your intention to withdraw clear is sufficient.

The deadline is met if you send the withdrawal no later than the last day of the period. The seller will confirm receipt.

4. Refund

If you validly withdraw, the seller will refund all payments no later than 14 days from the day the withdrawal is received, using the same means of payment you used, unless agreed otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for the refund.

After withdrawal you may not continue to use the digital content or make it available to third parties.

5. Model withdrawal form

Complete and send only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

To:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the supply of digital content:

Address of consumer: ............................................
E-mail used for the order: ............................................
Account number for the refund (IBAN): ............................................

Signature of consumer (only if this form is sent on paper): ............................................

6. If you have lost the right of withdrawal

You have no statutory right to a refund. The seller may nevertheless grant a request voluntarily — write to hello@majsterodnuly.sk, describe what did not work for you in the guide, and we will find a solution. This option is not a money-back guarantee and the seller does not advertise it as such.

If something is objectively wrong with the content (missing pages, corrupted file, description does not match), that is not a withdrawal but a complaint — see the complaints procedure.
